Nursery School, House of Children, Primary School and lower Secondary School
The “Maria Montessori” independent comprehensive school of Castellanza is divided in four sections:
· The Nursery school, that hosts children from 18 months to 3 years;
· The House of Children, term that in Montessori’s language stands for kindergarten.
· Primary School
· Lower Secondary School
The linchpin of the educational project of this Institute is the Montessori Doctrine, typified by different function of the teachers who haven’t the main role in the class, but they propose an individual path to every student, thought for each learning rhythm.
The private educational structure, founded in 1963, has been entrusted to Acof by the Opera Nazionale Montessori (Onm).
